Even more enamored.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Hope to make some real pics soon.

I took it back to the dealer for a solid detail and what turned out to be a new AC compressor. Fuckin BMW, get it home and the CEL lights up. The irony was not lost.

While they had it, they gave me a 430 Gran Coupe. Getting into that, after driving the i3? I’d never buy it. It only took a day of driving the i3 to completely reframe my car mindset. I’ll take the future, thank you.

More to come, on this.

I’d love to here more about this thing, interior pics, what it’s like to drive, actual range, etc.

what is it with their AC compressors. Mine broke yesterday as well. The pulley snapped off and it sounded like my engine threw a rod.

The compressors are made by Denso... so I guess this hails from the Axis of evil. Illuminati confirmed

I saw one of those yesterday, and the thing that really jumped out at my was the front tire width. What is the actual measurement on those? They look soooo skinny.

What was your old e-60? A 535i? I’m inclined that it waa a 550i given the looks

09 535. Before that I had an 07 550— not a well-put-together car.

Yeah my dad had a 550 and it seemed like the only thing good with it was the engine and the handling. Suspension was awful (maybe bc he got the Dinan tune on it) and he couldn’t take any long road trip without a backache(maybe bc he’s old :p). He may or may not have scraped the air dam off twice

I loved the ride in both E60s, especially the 535 (active suspension), and the 20-way seats are the most comfortable things I’ve ever sat on. But goddamn, if those things didn’t break expensively on the reg.
